Fringe & Plaid

H&M Boucle Coat (similar here) / Forever 21 Plaid Shirt / Old Navy Thermal / H&M Jeans / Sam Edelman Louie Booties / Zara Bag / Modcloth Aviator Sunglasses / Forever 21 Necklace (similar here)

For the first time in awhile, I feel the need to ‘dress up’ a bit at work. My office certainly doesn’t have a strict dress code, but everyone seems to always be nicely put-together (I suppose women who work in fashion tend to do that, go figure!). Thus, on my downtime I’ve been skewing casual, comfortable and warm. Trying to incorporate some semblance of style while maximizing the functionality of my outfit. Plaid and thermal are sort of no-brainers this time of year, but sometimes it’s nice to just wear those easy things that you gravitate to without thought. I think I’m finally re-learning that the key to surviving winter is to throw on clothes that make me feel good and be done with it. Over-thinking is for warmer days.
