Textured Tights

Remember when colored tights were a big thing a few years ago? I never really liked straying too far from my usual black or grey, but the other day I pulled these textured ones out from a random bag of stuff I found from our move and liked how they added a bit of softness to my outfit. I’ve never been one to own “fancy” tights, but I got these from my old job and the quality is really evident. Especially considering they’ve been haphazardly scrunched into a ball with other accessories for a few months now. Besides, I’ve heard rumors that Kate Middleton herself favors the brand, so you know they’re worth it!

Actually, now that I mention it, I think one of my favorite outfits on this here blog involved really bright red tights… let’s see if I can dig up the link. Ah yes, here it is. So apparently I did partake in that trend once or twice. Blogging: keeping me honest since 2010 (holyyy crap that’s a long time!).

  1. I like your coat!

  2. They are the perfect tights. The colour is beautiful and the texture adds a lovely finish. This is a great combination, I always find your looks so well put together.

  3. I do remember when colored tights were a big deal, but now I've purged my closet from them. These still work because they are mostly neutral.

Love how you've layered your little grey dress. I must do this!

  4. Love this whole outfit and the colors you styled! I need a green grunge jacket like that! And I love your boot wedges!
