Leather Lapels & Cap-Toe Heels

coat: eBay, striped peplum top: Forever 21, coated jeans: Dorothy Perkins (similar), heels: Asos (similar), necklace: Etsy (similar here & here)

We’re starting to get the first inklings of cold weather and, honestly, I’m liking it. It’s cold when you wake up in the morning (like nearly freezing), but then the temperatures get more manageable as the days go on. It’s ideal for pulling out all your heavy layers and coats and test driving them. Yet I’ve also been in the mood to throw on my heels. I have to get them in while I can, you know!

I’m heading out to upstate New York for a wedding I’m in this weekend. I’m excited to get to see all my college girls and what I’m sure is some beautiful scenery up there. Then I’ll be hauling back to make it to a Halloween party the next day. Gosh, I haven’t had plans like this… well… since the last time I was in a wedding. For the record, this is numero three for me. Yes, that would be three bridesmaids dresses in one year…

  1. your coat is super pretty,i think i have the same on,but mine is from zara :) the pants and the shirt go great together

  2. Love the coated jeans! And the heels! I wish it was just a little cooler here in CA so I could start to wear more layers!
