Fall Glow

top: Zara, jeans: James Jeans, boots: Dolce Vita Tyson Boots, bag: The Sak Iris Satchel, scarf: Madewell

The other day it was surprisingly warm out. So much so that the jacket I had planned on wearing was rendered completely unnecessary. Without it, this outfit became a lot more girly, preppy, springy than I had anticipated, but hey, whatever works. It’s also what inspired me to think up ways to wear lighter colors and look a bit more fall appropriate (hence my last post).

Though I do have to say, I think I was a bit overdressed/over-coordinated for running errands at the grocery store and bank. Small town style is definitely different than city style, she says stating the obvious but only just recently truly understanding it.

  1. Haha I definitely understand you on the small town thing. I live in a college town, so anytime you run an errand wearing anything other than a baggy t-shirt and leggings, you get some weird looks. You look so cute though! Love the light colors with the boots!

    1. Thanks, Ashley! And yeah, I have to constantly remind myself that the person in PJs should be getting the side-eyes, not the person just reasonably dressed. ;)

  2. This outfit is great! I love the print on the shirt, so cute :)

  3. I've been trying to style my scarfs now that it's getting cooler - this one is so pretty!

  4. Okay, I LOVE this. The pattern of that shirt is so adorable, and I love how you transitioned it to fall in this outfit. The matching belt and boots, neutral pants - this is stunning.
