Happy Father's Day to my wonderful Dad!
For some reason I keep thinking of this one time that my father decided we just had to see the world's biggest boulder... which happens to reside in New Hampshire. It was very Clark Griswold of him because as much as we were all like, "But Daaaaad, it's just a really, really big rock", he was determined that we were going to see it and we were going to like it, dammit!
And you know what?
It was pretty cool.
(I mean, it is just a really, really big rock, but how often do you see those? And we were teenagers... so if we were evenly mildly amused that's a wild success in my book.)
So whenever I sit around thinking, "I'm bored", I try and think about what my Dad would do and find an adventure in the ordinary.
Thanks for being the best Dad ever! I love and miss you!!
