Rainy Mad Men Greek Birthday Day

sweater: Forever 21 (similar), jeans: Target, boots: Breckelles, belt: thrifted

Sunday was my birthday as well as Greek Independence Day as well as rainy!  Oh my that’s a lot of things for one day, is it not?  Oh right, and it was also the premiere of Mad Men.  So yes, Sunday was sort of a sensory overload type o’ day.

I picked up this giant blanket of a sweater for myself too.  Since I am writing to you on Monday night, I can safely say that I have worn it every day since.  No promises, but I just might wear it all week because who wouldn’t want to spend all week in a blanket?  I would also like to point out that I am in fact sneakily wearing blue and white (for the motherland) as is tradition on my birthday/half-my-family’s-favorite-holiday (that may be a lie… I’m sure I over-romanticize Greek I.D. because it’s my birthday too).  Of course I’m also representing deserty-southwestern-America with my blanketsweater, but that is just coincidence… so pay no attention to it.

Uhhhhh, so my mind is a little shot.  I stayed up far too late for my 6:00 AM wake-up call (isn’t that just nicer than saying ‘alarm’?) and I dealt with more DMV stuff.  The saga is not over; however, I don’t have to deal with it tomorrow (today, I guess) so I’m happy.  7:00 AM has never felt so luxurious!

And my brain has literally stopped functioning, so we’re done here!  Happy Tuesday!
