Apparently this is one of the more popular Jason Wu for Target blouses, so I apologize if it’s been all over the internet.  I don’t think I’ve ever purchased a designer collaboration piece before, but I had a Target gift card (thanks, Mimi!) and this top was just too darling to pass up.  Also, as I’ve mentioned before, I’m just barely warming up to the color pink, so it’s not like my wardrobe is filled to the brim with pieces like this anyway.

Regardless, it seemed fitting to wear it on Valentine’s Day.  Really it was the only spirited thing I did, besides watch the Valentine’s Day episode of 30 Rock… which I highly recommend.  It highlighted how Ikea is basically a relationship minefield in the best funny-because-it’s-true type of way.  Naturally I watched it alone, as James had to work in the evening.  So let that be a lesson to anyone complaining about not having special Valentine’s Day plans because they don’t have a significant other… seriously… no one does.

Though there will be my 8th annual viewing of Fatal Attraction that will be observed this weekend in honor of Valentine’s Day.  Traditions are important.
