You’re Gonna Make It After All! {Wideleg Jeans & Blazer}

PinspirationWeek2

In continuing with my Pinterest themed week, I decided that I was crazy and was going to try and make a Sydney classic my own: wideleg jeans & a blazer.  If you’ve been living under a rock, this girl has amazing style and trying to make one of her looks your own is probably the silliest thing you can do.  In my attempt, I played up the 70s cut of the jeans and went for a sort of feminine-Mary-Tyler-Moore-business-casual look.  My blazer is closer in color to the jeans, so I broke up the monochromatic-ness (??) of it all with a pink top and a paisley scarf.

I don’t know if you can tell, but I was about .05 seconds away from some serious migraine-induced nausea.  Luckily we were just down the road from my apartment, so a few minutes after these were taken I was back in my PJs, taking a nap.  Never fear though, between taking advil and benadryl the headache dissipated within an hour or two.  I long for the day when I can live in an apartment with better air flow because I’m pretty sure the stuffiness of our place is the culprit.

Nevertheless, Mondays are usually meant for restoring my apartment to a presentable space… So I have a lot of work to get to today!  Productivity, yeah!
