On one of my last days in New Hampshire I wore this outfit. Aside from some rather amazing shoes that James gave me for Christmas (…with a little help from a wish list), this outfit was plain. It was mostly just a go-to for running errands with a dash of colorful shoes to make me feel pretty. However, upon seeing it my brother exclaimed, “This is New Hampshire. No one dresses that colorful.”
I guess New Hampshire wasn’t ready for these shoes.
I also guess that bright shoes automatically make everything else you’re wearing crazy colorful. That’s me, though. Crazy. Crazy like olive green. Ooo, somebody control me, please!
And let me tell you, as I was running around Walmart (raiding the aisles for tax-free loot) you’d think I was dressed to go to a ball. Oh the looks I got! Apparently if you’re in a Walmart after 8pm in more than a pair of sweatpants, you’re suspicious looking. Sartorial profiling at its best, people.
