The post that didn't want to exist

I have been locked in a battle royale with Flickr for well over an hour and half trying to upload these pictures.  Apparently the New Hampshire web gods wanted none of this crap and now it's pushing 3 in the morning and I don't have anything even remotely good to show for it.  However, I am back in New England and that makes me happy.  Yay for family and friends and finally having boots and purpose to layering!  Also, you know what's awesome?  I have even managed to dress appropriately, so much so that on a couple of days I've been too bundled up and sort of dying of heat stroke.  That's a pretty big step for me though considering my friends know me as the girl who hated layering and wanted to wear paper thin t-shirts that were the closest thing to being naked even in the winter.  Guys, I think I'm maturing!

cardigan & plaid shirt: J. Crew, lace top: thrifted, jeans: Gap, boots: old, necklaces: Banana Republic & Target, ring: Target

  2. Those boots are the coolest ever! They're kinda like Victorian vixen boots. So cool. I also love how you layered plaid and lace!

Amen to not bundling up enough... I was having that problem, too until my mom bought me wool undershirts and made me wear them.. Good thinking on her part- going outside is a lot less of a penance now ;P
